Apart from the MacBook 2023, Apple also revealed a desktop version in the form of a Mac mini that comes with updated chipsets.
Refreshed Mac mini w/ more muscle!The device appears to have no change in design. It is still slim and compact and with the familiar Silver colorway. Inside, you'll see the choices of either the M2 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU combo or the newly revealed M2 Pro processor w/ 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU , and the 12-core CPU, 19-core GPU .
It also includes unified memory and which can be upgraded up to 32GB. The M2 variant can have up to 2TB storage while the M2 Pro version has up to 8TB storage. Apparently, this new Mac mini does not have the M2 Max version. But who knows we may likely see one in the near future. In terms of wireless connectivity, Apple upgraded the mini desktop models with a WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. But the Pro versions get a faster HDMI 2.1 port including four Thunderbolt ports instead of two on the entry-level models. Also, both variants have USB-A, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
