It has been over two years since Arcane concluded its 9-episode first season, which ended with Jinx firing a rocket launcher at the Piltover council after she decided to sever ties with her sister. Purnell promised another “devastating” final episode, revealing that the Season 2 finale made her very emotional during her voice recording session.
“I actually just went back into the studio to complete some ADR for the season 2 finale – and I cried,” Purnell shared. “So, I think other people will cry, too. It’s devastating, and nobody will feel good after watching it.”Based on Riot’s The League of Legends game, Arcane is created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. Season 1 also featured the voices of Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Kevin Alejandro as Jayce, Jason Spisak as Silco, Toks Olagundoye as Mel, JB Blanc as Vander, and Harry Lloyd as Viktor.
