A family fun day will take place to mark the special occasion. The event will take place on Saturday 15 June from 10am – 4pm on the school grounds. Headteacher of the school Mr Catlow said: “60 years marks an exciting time for our school. Archbishop Temple has always been at the centre of our community and it is the community that has seen the school grow from strength to strength, the amazing achievements of our pupils being testament to that.
While Justine Sumner, Chair of the school’s PTA and organiser of the event added: “We are really excited about the event.
DJ Des Grant will be in charge of music while there’ll also be a kids’ zone, fairground rides, face painting and inflatables.The school’s alumni are encouraged to attend as there will be alumni school tours and a dedicated area for ex-pupils to catch up.Sign up below to receive Blog Preston's email newsletter.
