Down for Love: Are Josh and Sophie still together?

In the show's first episode, Josh's first date with Hayley resulted in little spark. But then a couple of dates with Libby left him besotted, after the pair tore up the dance floor with their best cha-cha.proved its credentials as an antidote to the modern dating-show mould – which tends to revel in leaving participants uncomfortable and occasionally humiliated for entertainment value – when Libby was deeply troubled by the idea of telling Josh she only wanted to be friends.
As a result, it was Josh’s mother, Nicola, who tactfully shared the news with Josh. He understandably still found the news tough to take and threw himself into other activities to get his mind off the disappointment.But ever the life of the party, Josh bounced back for the show's finale episode to go on a third-time-lucky blind date with Sophie.
The pair met on Auckland's waterfront, where he brought her flowers and she brought him a slice of homemade cake. Things were off to a good start. Josh and Sophie enjoyed a day at the penguin sanctuary and then grabbed ice creams by the beach, where they shared a very sweet kiss. Josh then asked Sophie if she would like to go on another date with him that week, which she agreed to.They were then seen walking hand-in-hand along the beach – just before the credits for the show rolled.Bubbly Josh was one of the first show participants we were introduced to and quickly become someone we were rooting for in his earnest quest for a girlfriend.
