We need to get better in all areas."Powerful words from a manager who has seemingly lost patience with a side that has scored fewer goals than any other SPFL side. "It became abundantly clear that he was the man I wanted to lead us on a permanent basis," then-chairman Steve Brown said after MacLean's appointment on a permanent basis.
"He has spoken about mini pre-seasons, fitness, about squad numbers, confidence and getting to work with the group. "I think he's come out and had a right go there - and that'll get through, there's no doubt about that," added former Aberdeen captain and manager Willie Miller.
