Armed police swoop on London street near Ukrainian Embassy after 'shots fired'
ARMED cops opened fire on a car near the Ukrainian Embassy today after it crashed into the country's ambassador.
A huge police cordon is in place in Holland Park with one man arrested over the drama this afternoon.Scotland Yard confirmed "police firearms were discharged" but there were no injuries.Terrified locals earlier reported hearing "ten or more shots" fired in the area. One witness said: "Crumbs we had a shoot out in Holland Park at the #Ukrainian #Embassy #shootout #bitworrying".
The area contains a number of embassies - including the Embassy of Greece, Embassy of Uzbekistan and Cameroon High Commission in London.
