"So just for me, as the first one in the attacking line, I knew what was coming, and I committed myself to the process. But the Netherlands international refused to accept that the strike was a weight lifted off his shoulders and believes his team-mates should build on the expectation that supporters place on them to perform.
"A club as big as Everton Football Club, if you don’t perform, the fans have got a right to kick off, and that makes you perform."
