Police have made an arrested following reports of a man approaching young girls in a town centre and 'acting inappropriately towards them'.
The public were urged to come forward immediately with sightings or information that could help identify the suspect and not to approach him. At the time, a spokesperson said: "We understand these reports will be concerned to members of the public, particularly those with children, and we want to reassure you that we are making every effort to locate the individual in the CCTV footage."
"Just to update you we have now arrested a man on suspicion of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, possessing indecent images of children and causing a child to watch a sexual act. He remains in custody at this time.
