A small group of protesters were stopped in their tracks at 3.20pm today after clambering underneath fencing and scrambling to different parts of the course.at Aintree, said around 25 of its supporters stormed the Ayr Racecourse ahead of the £200,000 race.Despite the disruption, the event, which was won Jack Tudor-ridden Kitty’s Light, started on time at 3.38pm.
“Today we continue that conversation. As a society, we love animals, but we have to find a way to care for them without harming them.
