Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admits the club is searching for a new forward in the January transfer window. Despite a strong start to the 2025 season, the Gunners have struggled to convert chances, and both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus are currently injured. Arteta believes adding a striker would strengthen the squad, particularly a wide forward to compete with Saka and a new number 9 to challenge Kai Havertz.

One of the most sought-after forwards in Europe needs little introduction and he is the type of high-profile signing that would excite Arsenal supporters.
