Former Leeds United defender Danny Mills worries that Archie Gray would look “lost” in a Premier League defence amidst elite interest.
That is not to say that any of the high-profile sides that are rumoured to be interested could not loan Gray back to Leeds for the 18-year-old to develop in the engine room of Daniel Farke’s side, provided the German can find a new starting right back in his absence.“He’s not been played in his preferred position; I think his best position is midfield,” said Mills, speaking to Football League World. “He’s been farmed out to right-back where he’s performed brilliantly.
