Arsenal are second in the Premier League table but sit nine points ahead of leaders Liverpool ahead of Wednesday's gigantic game against Manchester United
Arsenal have been handed a double boost in the Premier League title race after two Manchester United players were ruled out of Wednesday's crunch game against the Gunners. Mikel Arteta's side host Ruben Amorim's men at the Emirates looking to make it three league wins on the bounce and pile the pressure on Liverpool at the top of the table. Arsenal returned to winning ways by beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 last weekend before thrashing West Ham 5-2 on Saturday.
And their task has been made slightly easier after Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo both picked up their fifth yellow card of the season in their 4-0 thumping of Everton at Old Trafford. Martinez and Mainoo will be unavailable for the trip to north London and will return against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Arsenal are in confident mood at the moment after two big wins and Arteta has recognised that his team need to capitalise and pick up points while they are playing well.
