Arsenal will have to face Manchester United and then Wolfsburg in a crucial week without their club captain
A statement from Arsenal read: “Our captain has already begun her rehabilitation and this process is progressing well. We expect her to be available for the start of preparations for the 2023-24 season.
“Our medical team will support Kim closely over the coming months and we look forward to seeing her back on the field of play soon.” Arsenal face Wolfsburg on Sunday in the Champions League semi-finals, the first time the club has reached that stage of the competition in 10 years. Their coach, Jonas Eidevall, had previously lost Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema to season-ending cruciate knee ligament injuries before Little joined them in the treatment room.
Eidevall’s team, third in the WSL, travel to the leaders, Manchester United, on Wednesday in a crucial match in the title race. Arsenal lie three points behind United with a game in hand in a three-way run-off with second-placed Chelsea.
