Ceadach O'Neill, nephew of former Irish League star Eoin Bradley, is making a name for himself with Arsenal's youth academy. The 16-year-old has impressed with goals and training alongside the first team.

The nephew of former Irish League star Eoin Bradley continues to impress with Premier League giants Arsenal . 'Skinner' Bradley, who was also a talented County GAA footballer with Derry, had a successful career in the Irish Premiership with Coleraine and Glenavon. But now the next generation is making waves in the world of football, and in stunning fashion, as Bradley's nephew, Ceadach O'Neill, is excelling with the Gunners.

O'Neill has always been highly regarded, making his Linfield debut at just 15 years old, coming on as a substitute in a BetMcLean Cup victory over Queen’s University in 2023. The Kilrea-native went on trial with Southampton and Liverpool before being offered a scholarship with Arsenal after impressing at the prestigious Flamengo Adidas Cup in Brazil and a further week-long stay in north London. He officially joined Arsenal last summer and got off to a perfect start by scoring twice on his Under-18 debut against West Ham. The Northern Ireland international has also had the opportunity to train with the Arsenal first team, which has left a lasting impression on him. In an interview with www.arsenal.com back in October, O'Neill shared his experience: 'I’ve started the season really well! Scoring two goals on my Under-18s debut against West Ham was the perfect way to kick off my Arsenal journey. It had been a long time coming too since I was offered the scholarship back in March, so I was just buzzing to help the team win. 'I’ve also had the chance to train with the first team, which was an amazing experience. During the international break a lot of us from the Under-18s trained with the first-team players who didn’t go away. I was keeping a close eye on Raheem Sterling because he plays in the same position as me. Watching him train and seeing his level was really inspiring – he’s a top player.' The 16-year-old continued his impressive form, tormenting West Ham once again last weekend by scoring the final goal in a 3-1 victory in the Under-18 Premier League. O'Neill produced a stunning left-foot finish that his uncle would have been proud of, smashing the ball home from just inside the penalty area
