Artificial intelligence could be the solution to household tensions, according to professional matchmaker, author and life coach Paul C Brunson. The co-host of 'Celebs Go Dating' and 'Married at First Sight UK' suggests that common issues such as leaving lights on can be resolved with AI-enabled tech, which allows homeowners to control their devices from their phone and view a 3D map of their home.
The research was commissioned to mark the launch of Samsung UK's new campaign: 'You and AI. As One', which showcases their AI-enabled products working together to bring balance to modern family life by assisting with everyday chores. The top family stressors include not turning off lights , neglecting chores , and leaving things on the floor .
The top technological advancements believed to help alleviate tensions include lights that automatically switch off , devices that control energy usage , and refrigerators that alert users about expiring food . Paul C Brunson suggests that the increase in AI-enabled technology should be more widely accepted, as it could lead to happier households.
According to the poll, 87 per cent agreed that their quarrels are trivial, while 65 per cent believed that the occasional heated debate was necessary to clear the air from time to time. More than a quarter blamed their partner for conflicts, while 26 per cent confessed they were the primary instigators. Furthermore, 36 per cent proudly identified themselves as the peacekeeper of the household, with only 17 per cent attributing this role to their partner, according to figures from OnePoll.
