We know, we know, it's tough to improve on something already so brilliant, but we thought we'd see what it thought of Nottingham
If you listen to the likes of Elon Musk and Rishi Sunak you'll know that artificial intelligence is the future. Apparently, there's not a job it can't do, although we're not sure we'd trust a robot to cut our hair just yet.
But how about the big questions? We already asked it how it would improve Nottingham's tram network after the government suggested that it might be in line for some investment, and it came up with some fairly decent suggestions. So how about taking it one step further? Why not ask it how Nottingham could be improved, with the caveat that there's not a limitless pot of money, or any money, if we're being fairly blunt.
The response was pretty decent actually. Everything on ChatGPT's list was achievable and some of it made us wonder if the city council had consulted a robot before coming up with a couple of fairly high-profile ideas. Others would fit pretty well with Nottingham's socialist political leanings, getting the people to have their say on certain key issues.Launch a city-wide tree-planting campaign, aiming to increase Nottingham's tree canopy cover. This not only adds to the visual appeal but also helps combat air pollution and provides shade.
