An artist who specialises in custom footwear has designed a pair ofBelgian artist Tijs Van Impe, also known as
on Instagram, partnered with McDonald’s Belgium to create these trainers in tribute to the Golden Arches.Writing on Instagram, Tazz explained that the shoes looked like a typical pair of Air Force 1s before he transformed them. ‘The design is based on the packaging,’ he wrote. ‘These shoes were completely white at the start and hand painted.’Complete with your own leather chips Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Tazz added: ‘This pair took around one week from start to finish: prepping the shoes, making all the stencils, mixing the colors, airbrushing and hand painting everything, making the tongue tags, 3D printing the McDipholder.
And anyone who has adored a hungover McDonald’s will be familiar with the design of the trainer, inspired by the brown paper bags adorned with colourful logos thatyour meals arrive in.
