Asda brings back 90s 'throwback' treat and shoppers are 'so happy'
Asda has officially started stocking an iconic 1990s treat and shoppers are 'running' to the supermarket.
Priced at 90p, the Muller Corner Mississippi Mud Pie inspired yoghurt is back and available in stores now. As reported by BirminghamLive, Muller said it brought back the yoghurt due to high customer demand. The yoghurt itself has three main components - a chocolate underlayer, a toffee and coffee-flavoured yoghurt, and a separate helping of chocolate crumble. Fans of the product were left delighted by the prospect of dipping into a retro treat, and shared their thoughts on the Newfoodsuk Facebook page.Sharing a photograph of the legendary sweet treat to its 286k followers, the Newfoodsuk post read: "Muller Corner Mississippi Mud Pie Review.
One happy shopper commented: "It’s so good, my favourite one! So happy it’s back… and still tastes how I remember." A second comment read: "Oh this is a throwback to my childhood, I can even remember the taste [laughing emoji]."On Facebook, there's even a public group called "Bring Back Mississippi Mud Pie Yoghurts!!" with almost 1k members. Now fans of the sweet retro treat can finally get it at their local Asda.
