Supermarket giants are warning shoppers not to eat certain products, including some festive items, following product recalls.
Asda Asda is taking the precautionary action of recalling three types of Asda Extra Special Mince Pies because they may contain pieces of plastic. The supermarket warned they are unsafe to eat. The recalled products include: The FSA said: "If you have bought any of the above products do not eat them. Instead, dispose of the contents and send the lid of the jar, the empty sachet or the sleeve of the cups with your name and address for a full refund to AERO Hot Chocolate Recall, PO BOX 205, Freepost 1374, York, YO91 1XB. Consumers with any concerns can call Nestlé UK free on 00800 63785385."
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to almonds , do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For further information, please visit www.aldi.co.uk or contact https://customerservice.aldi.co.uk/contact."
