The US-owned supermarket chain says sales like-for-like rose in the latest quarter but are lower over the first half of the year.
Asda said Brexit uncertainty was hurting its customers as it reported a fall in sales for the first half of the year.
It also suffered by comparison with last year when sales were boosted by hot weather and the World Cup.
