ASDA shoppers hail low calorie own-brand 90p ready meal as the 'nicest they've ever had'
Last year, ASDA came under fire with people as it started to stock its new Just Essentials range. The low-cost own-brand range of food essentials divided shoppers thanks to its 'patronising' bright yellow design.
Now another of ASDA's Just Essentials range has impressed shoppers. The 90p ready meal is being raved about online, and some shoppers have gone so far as to suggest it's the 'best ready meal' they've tried. On Twitter, one happy customer, named Sophie, shared a snap of Asda's Just Essentials Spaghetti Bolognese and said: "The NICEST ready meal. Low calorie and only 90p [applause emojis]".
The meal has seen glowing reviews on the ASDA website. One happy customer wrote: "I genuinely think this tastes better than Frankie and Benny's Spag Bol. Only 90p. 10/10 banging meal."
