Not everyone is a fan
Supermarket giant Asda has debuted its Christmas advert for 2022. The advert, which features Will Ferell as the Christmas icon that is Buddy the Elf, has already been seen by countless people in the UK.
With footage imposed from the timelessly hilarious movie, Will Ferrell's beloved fish-out-of-water character can be seen applying for a seasonal job at a branch of Asda, causing all sorts of mayhem. It's proven to be a welcome burst of nostalgia for those who are starting to feel Christmassy, with Buddy's antics just as much fun as ever.However, the ASDA advert has received a mixed response from shoppers. While some love it, others have branded the editing 'awful'.
