Digital court records obtained by TMZ confirm that the dissolution of their marriage was officially finalized on Monday.
Michael Darby, who shares sons Dean (5 years old) and Dylan (4 years old) with Ashley, previously stated to TMZ that their divorce settlement includes shared custody of their children and is both 'amicable and fair.' In early January, Ashley sat down with Andy Cohen on 'Watch What Happens Live' and disclosed that the status of their divorce 'was in the hands of Virginia State.' The separation of the Darbys, who were married in May 2014, has been a prominent storyline on the Bravo show. Their separation announcement came in April 2022 after nearly eight years of marriage. Following the announcement, Ashley moved out of the shared household and began dating Luke Gulbranson, a cast member from the Bravo show 'Summer House,' at the end of 2022. During a recent appearance on 'WWHL,' Ashley described Gulbranson as 'a good guy' and revealed that while they don't have labels for their relationship, they are 'only banging each other.' Meanwhile, she shared with Cohen and the audience that she hears about Michael's social activities, stating, 'People tell me all the time, which — I'm happy, go live your life, have a great time... but I hear all about it.' Despite the challenges, Ashley has emphasized that they have established a good co-parenting dynamic since their separation. Last November, she candidly spoke to Page Six about the emotional rollercoaster she has experienced since the breakdown of her marriage. She expressed the difficulty of navigating the situation and acknowledged the grieving process, stating 'It's hard out here, OK?' She also admitted to going through a period of depression, reflecting on the life she had envisioned versus her current reality. In her 2022 separation announcement, Ashley stated, 'Almost eight years ago, when Michael and I said 'I do,' we anticipated sharing every single day together from that moment forward. Unfortunately, that is not our current reality. We have decided to separate.
