Ubisoft has announced that beta testing for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will begin next month.
To catch you up, Codename Jade is the name of the new mobile Assassin’s Creed game that promises to deliver a full-size Assassin’s Creed experience on portable devices. This entry will take players into one the earliest dynasty eras of China in the third century, and will see you take on “the path of Xia” as an adopted child of master Wei Yu.
For the first time in a mobile AC title, you’ll get to fully explore an open world spanning “from the Great Wall outside the empire’s borders to the imperial capital of Xianyang” – along the way, you’ll journey across this world which includes plenty of treasures to find and things to do while defending against the Xiongnu and uncover the secrets of the terracotta warriors.
This beta test will be available to both iOS and Android devices and will kick off on August 3, but you can sign up from today
