Aston Martin has revealed its new AMR24 Formula 1 car, which it said is a “strong evolution” of its 2023 challenger.
The Silverstone-based squad is coming off the back of mixed fortunes last year where a super strong start to the season was followed by a period of difficulty as it struggled to get the most out of upgrades. But having understood what went wrong with its development direction, the team has made amends for its 2024 car which is due to run at Silverstone on Monday.
That's exactly what we want to know: how they feel the car can go faster. I think that's what the great drivers can really tell you, is where the car is going to go faster. “Certainly, straightline speed and making sure the car is as efficient as possible has been a big focus over the winter. I think that is something that we've managed to achieve on this year's car to make a step on that.
