Aston Villa winger Moussa Diaby has told the club he wants to accept the “huge” offer on the table from Al Ittihad,reported on Tuesday that the Saudi Arabian club were in talks to sign the France international and had offered him an astronomical salary to join.
Despite an impressive debut campaign at Villa Park, the 25-year-old has said “yes” to the move and is now prepared to leave the Premier League for what amounts to a shock move overseas. The Premier League outfit are expected to make a significant profit on the wide forward, but his departure will leave a hole in Unai Emery’s squad.Diaby had been a regular under Emery last season, and he played a significant role in helping the club achieve Champions League football.
