Morgan Rogers has outlined his ambition to become one of the Champions League’s biggest stars and claimed he still does not feel like an established Premier League player at Villa.
The forward is one of only two players to start every top flight game for Unai Emery’s team this season and last month made his senior England debut.
“I want to be an established Premier League player, which I don’t think I am yet,” he said. “I want to be consistent player in the national team and want to play on the biggest stages and be considered as one of the best players in the competitions. Asked why he does not yet consider himself an established Premier League player, he replied: “I’ve not played enough games, I don’t think, to consider myself that.
“That is why I made that comment. I still think there is more to come and more consistency in my performances, game to game and week to week.”
