'Astronomically small' micro-frogs the size of STAPLES found in Madagascar
The frogs are so small that their brains could fit on the top of a pin head.

The frogs have been categorised as micro-frogs, bringing the total number of known micro-frog species in Madagascar to 108.They are likely to have evolved to be tiny so they can go undetected and prey on equally small prey like ants and termites. Scherz and his colleagues have discovered over 40 micro-frogs since they started their study back in 2014.
They identify tiny new creatures by using molecular and genetic work and micro-CT scanning to examine small differences in the teeth and bones of the animals.
