US markets will be closed on Monday for the Juneteenth holiday. Trading will resume on Tuesday .Tuesday is all about the RBA: Minutes of the June monetary policy meeting will be released at 11.30am AEST; Assistant governor Christopher Kent will participate on a panel at the ISDA/AFMA Derivatives Forum in Sydney at 11.35am AEST; deputy governor Michele Bullock will speak to the AI Group in Newcastle at 1.30pm AEST.
The Bank of England will hold a policy meeting on Thursday, with a decision at 9pm AEST. Norway’s central bank also meets that day. There’s the potential for a half-point increase at each of those meetings. On Friday, there will be June services and manufacturing PMIs released for Japan, Eurozone, UK and US.
