Footage circulating on social media showed men armed with machine guns firing at concert goers
Smoke rises above the burning Crocus City Hall concert venue following a reported shooting incident, on the outskirts of Moscow. At least 13 people have been killed and dozens injured after gunmen attacked a busy concert hall in Moscow on Friday night, according to Russian media reports, with the attack thought to be ongoing.
Russian special forces have reportedly been deployed to the scene, as well as ambulances and firefighters. Dozens of people have been evacuated via the roof, according to Russian authorities. Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova described the incident as a “terrorist attack”.reported that the shooters remain on site and may have barricaded themselves inside the building, preventing firefighters reaching the blaze.
