Designer Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 wasn’t just a delight for fans of all things fashion, but for beauty fans, too. The collection—shown at the Hypostyle Room in Antoni Gaudí’s Park Güell in Barcelona—featured winks and nods to the past, like exaggerated ’80s proportions, and the beauty looks followed suit, showcasing a welcome return of the inexpensive claw headband and deep burgundy statement lips that would have riled up Tumblr in 2012.
To get the look at home, try the MatteTrance Lipstick in shades McMenamy 200 or Deep Void, a limited-edition, nearly-black purple that is hard to track down. The hair looks at the show, created by stylist Duffy, ranged from sleek half-up styles to cool undone waves, with many models wearing statement hats on top. But what caught our eye the most was the addition of a few claw headbands—yes, the kind you wore in middle and high school.
