At the crossroads of sustainable animal farming, what is the key to the future? | via FnBReport
Food safety and food traceability measures are legal requirements in many countries to ensure that only healthy and clean produce reaches consumers. Being the largest net beef exporter in the European Union, Ireland—through its food board Bord Bia—has collaborated with the European Commission to lead a program that promotes food and safety sustainability standards and brings high quality pork and beef to the world.
How do we drive animal farming into the future? Bord Bia doesn’t want to be in a commodity business with the Philippines but rather in a long-term strategic partnership.
