Four people have been shot Tuesday at a food court and the building is on lockdown, Atlanta's mayor announced on X.
Multiple people have been injured by gunfire at a food court in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.The Atlanta Police Department said in a series of posts to X, formerly Twitter, that officers were 'working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident' at the Peachtree Center food court on Tuesday afternoon.Police at 3 p.m.
'The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority told ABC affiliate WSB-TV that the transit station at the Peachtree Center was untouched by the shooting but that MARTA 'Special Operations Response Team and Tactical Field Officers are assisting Atlanta police and patrolling the station.'ViewsWitness Kemba Walker Jr. told WSB-TV that he heard 25 gunshots over 25 or 30 minutes.
