Plaza, 40, was forced to miss her presenting duties at the 82nd annual Golden Globes on Sunday. In a statement obtained by DailyMail, a representative for the actress said: 'This is an unimaginable tragedy.

The Brutalist director Brady Corbet, 36, honored Plaza and Baena during his acceptance speech for Best Director at the Golden Globes.
