Australian tennis player Marc Polmans was instantly disqualified from a match for smashing a ball in the umpire's face.
Polmans faced Italy's Stefano Napolitano in Shanghai and failed to execute a backhanded drop shot on a match point during his qualifying tie.Clearly frustrated after the ball hit the net, Polmans whacked the rebounding ball in frustration. The footage shows Polmans walking towards the umpire offering an apology afterwards but he was unsurprisingly disqualified for his furious reaction, handing Napolitano the win.
