With 9 per cent of Austal in his pocket, Rothwell is a multimillionaire based on his shareholding in the company alone.It is unclear at what stage Rothwell plans to sell down or cash out. However, it does make it a more attractive proposition for a would-be bidder looking to put its stamp on the company.
