The Australian Legal Affairs contributor Chris Merritt says the Australian government’s proposed misinformation bill signals a divergence from the US approach to free speech.
“While they’re heading in one direction, preventing their government and government agencies from
heavying the tech giants into censoring what they put online,” Mr Merritt told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
