| Australia must resist other countries’ attempts to build a hostile regional view of our foreign and defence policies, Foreign Minister Penny Wong has warned, a day after China“In a time of strategic competition we have to make sure we are not being framed by others, and we frame ourselves,” Senator Wong told reporters in Britain on Thursday .
“The modern face of Australia and the modern face of Britain ... is one of the ways in which we can make ourselves stronger and more influential in the world,” she said.
