Australia Post has introduced a new service after 'listening' to customers who wanted faster delivery when shopping online.
The Albanese government has hailed a"win-win" for customers and retailers after Australia Post introduced a new service to respond to the needs of online shoppers.
The move also comes amid data suggesting 68 per cent of online shoppers are unlikely to follow through with a purchase if they deem the delivery option to be too slow. Australia Post Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Paul Graham said the service offers"a more agile, flexible delivery option" ahead of the Christmas rush.
Myer is one of the retailers which is taking advantage of the Australia Post Metro delivery service.
