Repacholi, who trains and practises his target shooting in the early mornings and late evenings outside parliamentary and political duties, is looking to add to his three Commonwealth Games gold and three bronze medals.The “man mountain”, who came to wider national attention as he towered over Anthony Albanese on the 2022 election campaign trail, has been a sporting legend in his home town for some time.
Repacholi’s team believe, if he makes it to Paris, he may be just the second sitting federal MP to compete at an Olympic Games.
