Djokovic, who has never publicly confirmed his vaccination status, was granted a medical exemption. In the view of the tournament organisers, it seems, he should be allowed to compete in Melbourne simply because he is Novak Djokovic. In other words, if you’re rich and famous, the pandemic rules don’t apply.
