Multiple agencies are responding to a shooting at Wilmer-Hutchins High School in southeast Dallas on April 12, 2024. Here's what we know as of 11:20 a.m.
Police sources told WFAA that one student was injured and a suspect in the incident had was taken into custody around 11 a.m. The incident was initially reported shortly after 10:30 a.m., according to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials.
"Police are on site to ensure our school remains secure," Dallas ISD officials said in the statement."At this time, we ask everyone to refrain from coming to the campus, as we limit access inside."
