An Ayr shire businesswoman is seeking a change of use at her yoga studio in Kyle Street, Ayr , in order for her business to continue trading.
Vhairi Slaven, who runs My Yoga Place, at 70 Kyle Street, needed planning permission, in advance, for a change of use to what once was a hairdressing salon. However, according to planning papers Ms Slaven was “not aware” until now that she required to apply for a change of use to the premises. On the My Yoga Place website it states: “Our classes skilfully blend various Yoga traditions and focus on connecting mindful, dynamic movement, static postures, and conscious breath to improve mental well-being, self-confidence, strength, flexibility, and range of motion.”
Ms Slaven said in her planning application: “We were not aware until now that we should have applied for a change of use.”Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter
