An Ayrshire-based care worker dropped a text message to a young service user asking for a “wee joint” because he’d run out of “green.”
Whiteford’s job title was redacted, while his Ayrshire employer’s details, at the time, has also not been disclosed. I’ve no green left and couldn’t get a bit earlier today. Watching Netflix....I’ll return the favour another night,” or words to that effect.
“You have asked a young person to supply you with drugs whilst at work. You were working at the time on a waking nightshift. You tried to conceal your actions by asking the service user not to tell anyone. Your actions had a detrimental impact to the young person and caused them emotional distress.”
