The charity are calling on businesses, schools and groups to get involved and help raise important funds.
And next month’s Go Purple Day- Friday, October 13 - will be no different.
Every pound raised helps provide care and support to patients and their families with life-limiting illnesses across Ayrshire & Arran, as well as going towards the charity’s Capital Build Project - a £17 million redevelopment of the Hospice’s site on Ayr’s Racecourse Road, which aims to future proof the hospice for generations to come.
“Many of our local schools are having dress-down days, which the students love, and local shops are offering gift-wrapping services with all proceeds being donated. Mobility equipment supplier Thistle Help, in Irvine, have been getting involved in Go Purple since 2018 with activities including staff braving the gunge and coffee mornings.
