Lauren Boyle delivered an inspiring speech at a major Cancer Research event as she said 'there's always hope'.
A brave cancer survivor has told how she started to plan her funeral before making a miracle comeback – in a powerful charity event speech.
And she defiantly told the Butterfly Event called Butterfly Bazar at Ayr Racecourse, how she is living proof that fundraising to fund research does work that magic can happen. It comes after she bounced back from being told her cancer was incurable as she feared that Christmas 2022 could be her last, as she revealed for the first time that her cancer spread to her brain during her devastating two-year ordeal.
“I don’t remember much I just remember going out of the room and crying. I thought 'I’m a mum and my children need me'.” “I started making notes on my phone, I told my friend my passwords. I needed to know things were in place, I wanted my funeral sorted. My heart was breaking.” And she joked how the day she was sent to hospital, she told the GP that she cant’ go as she was “going to Asda.”
