Granny Smith's nursery in Troon rallied behind 'one of their own' Calum Rae
An Ayrshire nursery has held a huge celebration for one of their brave youngsters whose cancer appeal has raised more than £250,000.
The Ayr Street institution rallied round the courageous four-year-old as he battled high risk neuroblastoma. They were just one of dozens of Troon businesses who pledged support to the little ‘Rae of Sunshine’. Their latest event, a huge fun-day in the nursery grounds, came on Sunday, August 20 – just days after the magic total was hit.
