The store opened its doors at 7am
Shoppers were out early for the opening of a new B&Q store in a Nottinghamshire town centre. B&Q opened its newest 24,000sq. ft store on Thursday, April 27 at the Maltings Retail Park in Newark.
The staff gathered outside with Unit Manager for Newark, Troy Carrington, and cut the ribbon, officially opening the new store. Town Mayor, Councillor Laurence Goff, is expected to visit the store later today for an opening ceremony.Troy said: “We launched this morning at 7am. It’s been exciting launching a new store, it’s been challenging in places but equally rewarding.
