Babies 'R' Us might soon be coming to a Kohl's near you.

Evolving our assortment and bringing more relevant product to the millions of customers we serve is a core focus as we continue to deliver on Kohl’s broader growth strategy,” Tom Kingsbury, who is Kohl’s chief executive officer, said in a news release issued Tuesday. We see significant opportunity in the baby gear category, and partnering with Babies 'R' Us is another example of how we are finding new ways to optimize our assortment and further establish Kohl’s as the go-to brand for families," Kingsbury added.
The release noted the first Babies “R” Us shops will open in Kohl’s starting in August. Then, they plan to open at approximately 200 stores in fall 2024.The Babies 'R' Us shops inside Kohl's will range from 750 - 2,500 square feet of dedicated space inclusive of baby gear, activity, bath, furniture, feeding, and safety products," the release noted, adding that the space will complement Kohl’s existing assortment of baby apparel.
Customers will also be able to shop for Babies 'R' Us products on Kohls.com, as well as use Kohl’s registry to easily build and share gift lists. As of Tuesday,Babies "R" Us will be an addition to Sephora at Kohl’s, as well as the company’s "newly refreshed" home department.Babies "R" Us started closing stores across the nation in 2018 after Toys "R" Us filed for bankruptcy.
