The drama-thriller series, which claims to be based on true events, retells the allegations of stalking and harassment comedian Richard Gadd suffered by Fiona Harvey, 58, from Fyvie, Aberdeenshire. In the show Fife-born comic Gadd, 34, plays a fictionalised version of himself called Donny Dunn who is ruthlessly stalked by a Scot called Martha.
The Record went on to report the first picture and newspaper interview with Harvey after she was exposed as the real-life Martha by internet sleuths. Harvey has since vowed to sue Netflix, saying Martha — played by Jessica Gunning, 38 — was based on her.
